The African Descent Creative Industry Leadership Summit, Honours and Pageants

The Concept is:

  • To bring together policy makers, industry stakeholders, experts, scholars, financial institutions, and more from all walks of African descent countries in the world in a Summit and Conference forum to engage in the discourse on expanding the frontiers of the creative industry and economies of the African race.
  • To create a network and bond of friendships around the African descent countries of the world by intentionally creating, developing and promoting investments and opportunities among African descent states and countries. By this way, the Arts, Culture, Fashion, Tourism, Music, Movies, Beauty from the countries and peoples of African descent would build a bloc and hub for a common market, exchange and economy.
  • To use the platform to recognize, reward, honour and promote stakeholders in the entertainment industry and creatives, institutions, agencies and governments who have contributed and played diverse roles in the promotion of the industry. There is also posthumous recognitions.

On the 6th of March,

The Honourable Minister of Arts, Culture, Tourism and Creative Economy granted us audience in her office whereupon we discussed the date to enable the Honourable Minister perform the opening ceremony, and deliver her Speech.
I am delighted to announce that Tuesday the 13th of May, 2025 have been demised in the Honourable Minister’s itinerary as official date for the African Descent Creative Industry Leadership Summit, Honours and Pageants. Our events will span 6 days, with the African Descent Beauty Pageant as final event.

The African Descent Creative Industry Leadership Summit, Honours and Pageants

Is an annual event that will rotate around countries of the African descents. The upcoming Summit is expected to have delegates and participants from the Nigerian Ministry of Arts, Culture, Tourism and Creative Economy, African Descent High Commissions and Embassies in Abuja, Ministers of Culture, Tourism and Creative Economy of African descent countries, State Governors and Commissioners of Culture and Tourism in Nigeria, Heads of relevant Agencies and Parastatals, high government officials, industry stakeholders, etc.
